		Heart Health Every year, approximately 400 babies are born with some form of heart defect in Hong Kong. Those who are born with more severe heart defects may require cardiac surgery or catheter intervention in early infancy. Despite treatment, some of the children have residual problems that need long-term medical, financial and psychological support.
