McCharity Day Programme

The Children's Heart Foundation was selected to be the beneficiary of the November’s McCharity Day. On 25 November, a donation of $2.5 was made from each Extra Value Breakfast sold by McDonald’s.

Apart from donation, a ward visit had been arranged on 21 November. Pop singer Leo Koo, DJ Sammy and Uncle Ronald McDonald visited the peadiatric ward of the Grantham Hospital to show their concern and to bring happiness to the hospitalized children by playing games with them and giving gifts.

Through the sales of breakfasts and the donation box collection, we have received a total of $188,860. May we take this opportunity to express our most sincere gratitude to the McDonald’s Restaurants (Hong Kong) Limited for their generosity and warm concern to children suffering from heart diseases and to the Commercial Radio 2 for their kind support in promoting the event to the public.
